Greetings from Cyndi and Gerry to all the faithful members of the 69th class!!!
And a heartfelt THANK YOU to the ones who have worked so hard to make this web site and reunion possible!

Our sentiments at seeing and catching up with everyone again - seem to echo the feelings of Paul - - -
(Philippians 1:3-7) 3 We thank our God always upon every remembrance of YOU 4 in every supplication of ours for all of YOU, as we offer our supplication with joy, 5 because of the contribution YOU have made to the good news from the first day until this moment. 6 For we are confident of this very thing, that he who started a good work in YOU will carry it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. 7 It is altogether right for us to think this regarding all of YOU, on account of our having YOU in our hearts, . . .

How often our thoughts and conversations have drifted to "I wonder how so and so is doing?"  None of you has ever been very far from our thoughts and prayers!  We have very much enjoyed the different experiences each of us has had since leaving Gilead.

(Philippians 1:12) 12 Now we desire YOU to know, brothers, that our affairs (also) have turned out for the advancement of the good news rather than otherwise, . . . .

We were in Honduras for about 2 years.
While we were there, we got to help build a new kingdom hall in our territory - $1500.00 - complete!  Complete means:  no bathrooms (but then, none of the brothers had one); 7 electric lights; and a concrete floor.
The lady with whom I placed my first AWAKE magazine on my first day in field service - - ("I have 2 magazines about the Bible for 40 centavos" - and she could only afford one!) - - asked for a Bible study and eventually became our Sister.

Since returning, we helped start a new congregation in Newport News, Virginia - then when the kids came along, we moved to a small congregation that needed help - and still does.  I have been an elder in the West Point, Virginia, congregation for the past 20 years or so and Cyndi and I work together in the kitchen for Virginia RBC #1 - where I am the "breakfast overseer".  (Cyndi bakes some mean  bisquits!)
We have each been able to help several to baptism and are currently trying to develop the Spanish interest in our territory.

As to kids:
Andrew was born in 1983 and is now in the Newport News Spanish congregation.
Laurel came along in 1988.  She married a ministerial servant in March, 2010, and lives about an hour away in Hampton, Va.  She auxiliary pioneers and they just returned from working in unassigned territory.

(Philippians 4:21) 21 Give our greetings to every holy one in union with Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with us send YOU their greetings.

May Jehovah bless each of you!
