Cindy Burr Blackburn and family

Cindy Burr was assigned to Ecuador with the Harrimans and Rainones.  Upon arrival, the Harrimans and Rainones stayed in the tropical coast, but Cindy was sent immediately to the Quito missionary home. Quito is the capital of Ecuador sitting high in the Andes mountains at an altitude of  10,000 ft.
Cindy become a part of the Quito missionary family. She faced the immediate challenges of the altitude, having all her possessions stolen en route to her assignment, and then learning Spanish. Yet she handled everything with her positive attitude and intrepidness.  Soon she was loving service and had many studies. A few classes later, Cindy’s ex pioneer partner graduated Gilead and was also assigned to Ecuador.  Trish and Cindy were happy to be together again.
Upon Cindy’s return to the US she met and married a fine brother,  Brad Blackburn in the Olympia, WA area. She was happy to be married, to have a loving husband and two wonderful step children.
Cindy became ill and fought the fine fight faithfully until the end. We excitedly await the time we can embrace her in the resurrection.
